The 23rd Annual Yellow Rose 5K/10K Race is back with both a Fargo virtual and a Warroad in-person race for 2026!
This year, Fargo will host the Virtual Race starting on Friday, July 31 through Friday, August 7.
Warroad will host the In-Person Race held on Saturday, August 8.

The Fargo virtual race can be run (or walked!) anytime and anywhere during Friday, July 31- Friday, August 7, even indoors on a treadmill. Maybe you plan your race route around your neighborhood, favorite trail or within the comforts of your own home – you set your own course! Submission details will be sent to you closer to the start date.
Participants are encouraged to use Personal Fitness Trackers:

Saturday, august 8 - Following the 5k and 10k races
The Yellow Rose Kids Fun Run takes place as soon as the last racer has been cheered across the finish line.

The kid’s races take place in three divisions:
4 and under
5-7 year olds
8-10 year olds
Racers run along the sidewalk of Allison Park
Each kid gets a prize at the end of the race
Kids Fun Run participants do not need to register beforehand. Just show up on race day!
